Many things goin' on
Right now my life has been taken over with the release of my book- "hoop: the american dream". Have you been keeping up with the shooting hoop blog that follow me on my adventure? While we were making this incredible trek across the U.S. shooting hoops, we kept notes and now I get to blog about every day of this adventure. Today was remembering when we adopted *three* dogs. Kim and I read this blog and still can't believe that we actually made this trip, shot all of those basketball hoops, adopted three dogs and lived to tell the tale!
On September 3, 2013, I met Jason Collins at the 2nd Annual A Plus Youth Program, “Principles to Live By Gala”. The mission of the A Plus Youth Program is to use sports as a vehicle to provide the educational resources and character development necessary for student-athletes to succeed in life. We had a great night there and I signed and sold books, and posters and met some new friends.
Next week, I am teaching at creativeLIVE Photo Week. The best and brightest photographers working today, connecting you with your heroes in real time. Broadcast over six days, Photo Week is one of the most ambitious events the photography industry has ever seen.
I am getting settled into my new home. Lots of moving, remodeling, unpacking. Had a big birthday party (50!) at my new place last month with many friends flying in from all over to help me celebrate. Will blog about that adventure later.
Tonight, I am busy signing books at the Seattle Storm game. Woo Hoo.
